Aspect Ratio is precisely the size of a frame that you actually see on your computer monitor at any given point in time, the standard being 4:3 but loads of wide formats are now available. Another important feature to ensure would be the response time which is better as it gets lower. The lowest being the 2ms response highly recommended for graphically inclined applications but for a regular use and economical considerations, a response time of 5ms to 12 ms would suffice. Also check if it has got the DVI / HDMI Connector. An HDMI Connector is used when you would want to use your monitor as a television set to view the output from the high definition source like the video games and more.
